Crowns
A crown is simply a tooth-shaped restoration that covers all or most of the natural tooth above the gumline. Crowns are usually considered when a filling reaches the end of its life or when a tooth is heavily damaged. A crown protects and strengthens the tooth and is created and colored to match not only the natural color of surrounding teeth, but to properly fit the bite.

Bridges
One of the most popular methods for replacing one or more missing teeth is with a fixed bridge. A bridge is used in conjunction with adjacent, existing teeth, filling in the open space with natural looking teeth. A bridge can replace anywhere from one tooth to as many as ten teeth.

Cleaning / Hygiene
Our teeth and smile are one of the most important impressions we can make. That's why it is so important to create a regular routine of cleaning and hygiene where the plaque and calculus (tartar) from teeth can be removed. Most cavities and periodontal disease (gums) begin around and between the teeth. Brushing and flossing are important to keep the teeth and surrounding gums clean and healthy. Professional cleaning on a regular basis compliment the brushing and flossing you do at home.

Fillings
No other procedure is more commonly associated with dentists than fillings, which are the restoration of lost tooth structure with porcelain or resin. Our practice focuses on non-metallic restorations. We can now create restorations that blend in almost perfectly with the existing teeth.

Cosmetic Dentistry
More and more people with discolored, spaced, broken or silver-filled teeth are seeking cosmetic dentistry. Safe and effective cosmetic procedures include teeth whitening or bleaching, porcelain veneers, color matched fillings and composite bonding.

Periodontal
Periodontal disease or "gum" disease affects one out of every five adults. It is the leading cause of tooth loss in adults and is caused by bacteria in plaque. Periodontal disease can be treated successfully if it is diagnosed early. Regular cleaning habits and dental visits are preventative measures anyone can take to help prevent this disease.

VENEERS
Porcelain Veneers are shells of porcelain that are bonded to the teeth. They typically require some roughening or reduction of the outer tooth structure. The Practice doctors will endeavor to minimize the tooth reduction necessary under the circumstances to achieve the desired aesthetic and functional results. At a later visit, the veneers are bonded onto the prepared teeth. The veneers may be designed and fabricated in a variety of shapes and sizes to modify the appearance and function of teeth, including a V shape that covers the front and backside of the teeth (for example, when opening a bite). Whether to close spaces, increase size, change color or straighten the teeth, veneers are one of the most exciting procedures we provide.

BONDING
Bonding is a term that is commonly used to refer to the placement of composite resins on teeth. Bonding can be used to make a tooth colored filling for small cavities and repair broken or chipped tooth surfaces. It can also be used to close spaces between teeth. These procedures are usually accomplished in one appointment with little or no discomfort!

Zoom!® Whitening
Zoom!
® is a revolutionary tooth whitening procedure. In just over an hour, your teeth will be dramatically whiter. The Zoom!® Whitening procedure is simple. It begins with a short preparation to isolate your lips and gums. We then apply the proprietary Zoom!® Whitening Gel, which is activated by a specially designed light. Teeth typically become at least six to 10 shades whiter, sometimes more. A five minute fluoride treatment completes the procedure. You'll be amazed with the results.
